Multicultural Wedding at Riverway Clubhouse in Burnaby
Celia

Celia and Mo’s wedding brought together family, culture, and so much personality throughout the day. Their outdoor ceremony at Riverway Clubhouse incorporated Persian traditions, personal vows, and meaningful details from both of their backgrounds before everyone moved inside for an evening of heartfelt speeches, a Persian knife dance, cake, and a packed dance floor.

Our Favourite Moments

Love Note From the Couple
We just finished looking at it and it is magical. The whole day with your help went like a dreeeeam. And it’s kind of weird to say the photos actually made me relive the wedding in a way that I didn’t really get to the day of, because of how quickly things went by, seeing the photos made it real. It was a day full of LOVE, that’s all I can say, and you have captured it magically, thank you

What it Meant to Us
There was so much personality woven into Celia and Mo’s wedding. Riverway already has such an open, airy feeling with the patio overlooking the golf course, but once their ceremony space came together with the white florals and sofreh, the whole space felt completely transformed.
What stood out most was how naturally their different traditions were brought into the day. The ceremony moved through the sofreh, the sugar blessing, personal vows, and moments honouring their backgrounds, with live music carrying through the afternoon. Nothing felt like it was there just for the sake of tradition. You could feel how much each part meant to the families around them.
By the reception, the energy had completely shifted. There were emotional speeches, the Persian knife dance, Celia’s dazzling second look, and eventually everyone filling the dance floor. We love how everything can feel soft and intimate one moment, then completely alive a few hours later.
