The Story Behind the Stories We Tell
After a chance reunion 7 years after they first met, we started dating. Taylor knew pretty early on that Helen was the one. Six months in, we moved in together, and two years later, he proposed.
Since the beginning, we’ve been building Taylor Lee Films together, side by side. It’s been really special growing a business while growing our relationship at the same time, and it’s something we don’t take for granted.
Outside of work, we love travelling, trying new food, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. Our little family grew in 2025 when Sesame 🐾 joined us, and she’s been part of the adventure ever since.
As partners in life and in work, our goals are to keep building a life we love, explore more of the world, and continue growing Taylor Lee Films so we can keep telling stories like yours.
The Story Behind the Stories We Tell
We first met 12 years ago at Helen’s brother’s birthday party, though funnily enough, Taylor didn’t even know her brother. He had come along with a mutual friend, and we only chatted briefly before life took us in completely different directions.
Seven years later, Taylor came across Helen on Tinder. She must have made a lasting impression, because he didn’t think twice about hitting “super like.” This time, things just clicked.
Taylor knew pretty early on that Helen was the one. Six months in, we moved in together, and two years later, he proposed.
Around the same time our relationship began, Taylor had started filming and photographing weddings. By 2022, things were growing quickly and weekends were filling up, so it only made sense for Helen to jump in. Since then, we’ve been building Taylor Lee Films together, side by side.
It’s been really special growing a business while growing our relationship at the same time, and it’s something we don’t take for granted.
